אי ממתניתין הוה אמינא דלמא מייתי עורב טומאה ושדי התם וסגיא בדחלולי בעלמא קא משמע לן:

— There can be no doubt that the limit of the Rabbis is higher, for if the limit of R. Judah is higher, how do the Rabbis manage with anything that [still] comes within the limit of R.
